HTC HD2 Overview

The HTC HD2 is a multimedia mobile phone with a large touchscreen which has a number of advantages for the user.   It has a quick processor, making texting and surfing the internet quick and easy.  The handset can be used for recording videos and the 4.3 inch screen is ideal for viewing them in a several formats.

The Sense overlay wins points for ease of use.  Users can easily add shortcuts for applications to the homepage.  Contacts and other standard mobile sections can be found at the bottom of the screen.  Photographs taken on the 5-megapixel camera can be viewed easily and turning the phone will see the photo change format to fill the screen.

The phone also has Windows Mobile installed which can back up the details on your phone on a remote server to safeguard the data.  Other popular features include GPS navigation. Users can take advantage of the instant messaging applications and downloadable games are available.  Email is easy to set-up and use. 

When fully charged the battery offers nearly 500 hours of standby time with up to 6.3 hours of talk time, depending on the network connections chosen.  A USB connection allows the handset to be connected to a computer for data transfer.

There are also one or two disadvantages to the HTC HD2.  The handset is larger than other models with similar features and may look a little bulky in comparison.  The Windows-based programmes may slow down the phone which users on the go may find annoying.
