HTC Product Portfolio

High Tech Corporation (HTC) was founded in 1997. Its product portfolio includes smartphones and PDA phone devices. All their products run on the ‘Windows Mobile’ platform. The company dominated the mobile news in mid September 2008, when it added another rock in its sling, with the unveiling of its most recent handset, the HTC Touch HD. According to HTC the Touch HD is a mobile handset with its main focus on entertainment. From past mobile phone reviews, it appears that HTC has been trying to play catch-up with the Apple iPhone for quite sometime now. One cannot but wonder if their new offering is the one to finally out perform the iPhone.

Standard features of the HTC Touch HD include a large 3.8” wide-screen VGA touch-screen display, mobile broadband, running on 3G technology, 5 megapixel auto focus camera and a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack.

HTC Touch Viva.
This handset operates on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. This means that you get all the MS ‘Mobile Office’ features, including ‘Word’, ‘Access’ and ‘Excel’. In addition this device is compatible with computers running the Microsoft Operating System, which makes it very easy to synchronise emails and contacts between phone and PC.

HTC Touch 3G.
This handset offers you mobile broadband at speeds 18x faster than standard 3G phones. According to mobile reviews it is the fastest Internet phone currently on the market.
