The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 comes with most of the quality features that you expect from BlackBerry mobile phones. These key features include a strong email programme, messaging options, 2.0 megapixel camera, audio player, voice-command dialling, and stereo music streaming.
The keyboard of the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 is exactly like the BlackBerry Pearl Flip. Each key is assigned two letters. When the users begin typing, the phone comes up with possible word combinations and the user selects the appropriate word. Some users find that this is useful. However, I find it difficult and useless.
The BlackBerry Pearl 8120 weighs 3.2 ounces with a screen size of 240 x 260 pixels and it supports 65,000 colours. In Europe the phone will support 1800MHz GSM/GPRS as well as 900 MHZ GSM/GPRS. The phone integrates well with both enterprise and personal email accounts. It also syncs well with the Microsoft server exchange.
However, some users have complained about the durability of the phone. Issues that have arisen after a few months of use include a non-functioning trackball, power button failure, and the headphone jack working inconsistently during calls. However, the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 is one of the cheaper Blackberry mobile phones since if it is purchased with a mobile phone contract it can cost next to nothing. The price without a service plan is around £250 but at this price one could easily find a much better phone from the line of BlackBerry mobile phones that holds up better to everyday use.
I have an older 8100 and love it to bits. It’s about 2 years old and starting to show its age on the casing though.

I’ve had my BB for around 2 1/2 years now and absolutely love it. it’s starting to lose the silver on the casing but I wouldn’t swap it for the world.
