Setting up Google Mobile RSS Feeder

We will begin by defining what a RSS feeder is, or to be more specific what a Google Mobile Feeder is. A Google Mobile Reader is an internet based reading software offered by Google mobile. Since it is offered by Google it means that you have to sign up for a Google account in order to get the Google Mobile Reader on your smart phone.

The process of signing up for a Google mobile account varies for different smart phones; however more often than not it involves the steps outlined below:

1.    Navigate to the Google’s homepage on your smart phone
2.    Click the login link which brings the sign in page
3.    A link reading “Create an account now” appears
4.    Click on the link and follow the instructions and your new Google mobile account will be created. This account will then be used to set up your personalized settings for the Google Mobile RSS Reader.
5.    Customize your preferences using the online control panel. To do this you log into www.google.com/reader/m using your user name and password which you used to create your Google Mobile account.
6.    Once you are logged in you then select the number of news items you want presented on each page when you are surfing the feeds. This varies from five – ten. You can also track news feeds using the Google Mobile RSS Reader. This is done by simply clicking over the Google Mobile RSS Reader.

To make the feature more user friendly to new users, Google Mobile has a set of default feed bundles available.
