Sony Ericsson C902 Cyber-Shot Review

We all know that Sony Ericsson cameraphones started with the “K” series. Now, this has been replaced by the “C” series and the C902 is the standard bearer.

Mobile phone reviews say that this Sony Ericsson’s flagship phone, but that was before the C905 came onto the scene. The c902 comes with a very stylish design, only 11 mm thick and available in black and red, plus the very savvy 5-megapixel camera. The best thing about this phone is its touch-sensitive keys, located next to the screen, which enables the user to quickly take shots or activate other multimedia capabilities, such as listening to the FM radio or playing media files.

Now, let’s focus on its imaging capabilities. Again, as the flagship phone for the C-series, it should have autofocus, flash, face detection application, digital zoom, now up to 16x and SmileShutter™. To these, Sony Ericsson have added red eye reduction, video and image stabiliser and photo-fix applications.

As mentioned previously, this is also a media phone, complete with NetFront™ web browser, FM radio, Bluetooth®, USB connectivity, media player and so on. It also has an internal memory of 256MB, plus support through Memory Stick Micro™ expandable up to 8GB. The battery is quite impressive for a high-end phone and is capable of giving up to 9hours of talk time or 400hours of standby.

Of course, the Sony Ericsson C902 is quite pricey, since it is a high-end phone. Nevertheless, it is represents quite good value for money, considering all the features it offers.
