Sony Ericsson C903 Review

Once again, Sony Ericsson have proved that they continuously seek to improve their phones. The new C903 is a slide cameraphone that is really glossy, both figuratively and literally.

Figuratively, it is glossy since it promises the user a very special kind of feel with its stylish structure. The C903 is a high-end phone, which maximises design and function. With its 2.4inch screen, it gives users the “full screen” perspective, which is quite useful when viewing pictures. Since it is a slide phone, it uses keypads for typing, which gives an advantage to its users compared to fully-fledged touch-screen phones.

Quite literally, it is glossy, because it is a fingerprint magnet and you will always be bothered cleaning marks off, time after time after time. However, plastic or acrylic protectors are available in many stores.

As with most of the new SE cameraphones, the Sony Ericsson C903 features a 5-megapixel camera and the whole package of imaging applications, like SmileShutter™, autofocus, face detector, flash and image stabiliser. It also has video capture capabilities and 3G, enabling video calling.

Never forget that Sony Ericsson always see to it that their phones are jam-packed with features and as a result, they put an emphasis on media playing. The C903 can play media files, especially MP3s and can identify unknown tracks thanks to TrackID™ technology. The music player also has with a MegaBass™ sound feature, allowing users to enjoy the best quality sound, no matter what their favourite style of music.

To sum up, the Sony Ericsson C903 is, quite simply, a stylish slide-camera and media phone.
