The Nokia 2610 – simple and affordable

The Nokia 2610 is a pretty basic and easy to use mobile phone; perfect for the pay as you go market.  Users that hate to mess with the variety of features on some of the higher end mobile phones may find the Nokia 2610 very suitable for their purposes.  This device has the basic features one would expect to find on a mobile phone with a very affordable price tag.

The device is light weight at only 91 grams.  It is 104mm long by 43mm wide and is 18mm thick.  A user could expect to get up to 3 hours of talk time from the supplied battery and up to 300 hours on standby.

Users may notice that the display on the Nokia 2610 may not provide the same level of clarity that other similar mobile phones might have.  This is because the display itself is only 65k colours and its resolution is a bit low at only 128 x 128 pixels.

This phone is not a world phone so users looking to travel frequently with their mobile phones may be better suited with another device.  This phone is only dual band which functions on the 900/1800 MHz frequencies.

Users of the Nokia 2610 may also notice that this phone does not come with a built in camera like so many do these days.  No support is included for music files either so it cannot be used as a music player.

For someone just looking for an affordable, easy to use phone, this would make a great choice.
