The special edition black slide 6500 from Nokia will turn heads with its sleek and minimalist design. Users will particularly notice its compact size, thanks to its slider design, which hides away a standard keypad.
The Nokia 6500 black slide is 97mm long x 47mm wide x 66mm thick and weighs in at 123g. While this is a little on the heavy side, users will appreciate the durability of the phone compared to some of the lighter models on the market. Users will also enjoy the 6 hours of talk time and approximately 320 minutes of standby provided by the phone’s standard battery.
You need never be out of touch with the Nokia 6500 black slide, as it supports email accounts in POP3, IMAP4, and SMTP formats, basic text messaging and SMS.
This phone has a built in 3.2 megapixel camera, which features both an 8x zoom and flash capability. The camera on the Nokia 6500 black slide is also capable of capturing video and can be used for making video calls.
The phone is capable of functioning as a digital music player and can support MP3, AAC, AAC+, and WMA formats. If you are still looking for another source of music and information, there is a built in FM radio. The one major drawback with this product is that it only comes with 20 megabytes of internal memory for storing photos and videos on. However, a microSD expansion slot is provided, so it is possible to connect to an external memory source.
I have the Silver version and its a great phone and wouldnt swap it for anything else.
The only issue i can see with the Black Slide is that if it scratches will it show silver underneath.
